Coins for sale from my collection, BU silver dollars Hello everyone! EDIT: Including a lot of BU Morgan(1921)/Peace(1922/1923) dollars - 44 coins total, only 3 are not BU (1885O, two Peace dollars.) Selling for $30 each with FREE shipping. Payment via PayPal Gift only. Coins will be shipped the same day payment is made. These are my auctioneer friend's (which he asked me to sell at this price) and not from my collection. Coins in similar shape are selling regularly on eBay for between $30 and $50 each (seriously! Check the completed listings!) Price is firm. If I don't sell them this week, they go back to him on Saturday. Send me a PM if interested. So, I'm sure many of you have seen my auction listings on eBay over the past year. (My user name on there is benjamin_76_allen.) If you have purchased from me in the past, first off, THANK YOU. Second, you will remember getting the exact coin you bought, quickly, and with no hassle. I've done my best to be a great seller, and I intend to keep that customer service aspect going. That being said, I'm a bit dismayed at the fees eBay has decided to levy, especially since they now seem to be pushing the envelope to see how much we, as sellers, will put up with. I, personally, have registered complaints about these fees (especially taking a fee off shipping costs!) and I urge you to do the same. In any case, I have decided to try to sell coins on my own, "offline" (as much as that makes sense.) Here's how it works: I take a coin from my collection I take good, clear photos of the obverse, reverse, and any other shots you might request I put those photos in an online Photobucket account You browse this folder (just like shopping at any other store) and pick out the coins you want (or want more information on) You contact me via PM here with a list of what you want (all coins in this folder are available for sale if still present) I remove the photos of said coins and send you an invoice Shipping will be either $2.50 for USPS First Class Package (each package costs a minimum of $2.20 to ship including materials, not including time) or $6.00 for USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate box (probably best for heavier items.) Let's say I'll include FREE shipping for any purchases over $100. You send payment (either through PayPal gift, or PayPal regular) so you're covered I print the shipping label through PayPal (so I'm covered) I ship the items You receive the items We both smile because the transaction was so pleasant. If there are any issues at all with your purchases, I will make it right (this doesn't mean feel free to take advantage of me, but it means that I will adhere to the same standards that you would expect at any other store.) I will post the link to my online Photobucket album here: http://s116.photobucket.com/albums/o35/mielkeba/Coins For Sale/ I currently have 156 photos - that's 78 coins - listed for sale right now, with probably another thousand or so to add in the coming summer. US coins, Foreign coins (if silver, most will be at whatever current silver melt is.) Right now there are Indian Head Cents, Liberty Nickels, Buffalo Nickels, a few other US coins, and a bunch of foreign silver. I'm always adding coins - and I think I'll post a reminder ad each week as per guidelines of CT's For Sale rules. If you feel a price is too high, feel free to send an offer. For US coins, I tried to give each an approximate grade and then use Numismedia for an approximate price. For Foreign coins, I'm using Krause to determine rarity, giving each an approximate grade/price, or just putting the ASW on the description where the price would go. Coins listed as such will be sold at whatever current spot silver price is. I have done my best to price coins at what I deem "fair" prices - that means if the book value is $20, I might list it for a few dollars less. The goal here is liquidity and movement - good prices and lots of coins will hopefully translate into lots of sales. If you have suggestions, feel free to help me improve my 'store'. EDIT: Good suggestion received to sort photos by coin type. DONE! Thanks again, and I hope to do business with you!
