I collect a few specific things. Two of them are coins and turtles. I know the 2013 Sacagawea Dollar features a turtle on the reverse. Does anyone know of any other coins that feature turtles in their designs?
Ancients are kinda out of my league D: Actually thank you, I just found one I like a lot thats only about $17 after shipping
I think I got a Tuvalu coin metal detecting. It was a country I never heard of and I had to look it up. Here's one with a turtle.
Yeah the Aegean turtles are pretty expensive for a good one. Unfortunately I don't have one myself, would love to though. Actually I found ancients to be suprisingly affordable compared to moderns both have their high and low dollar coins. But everyone has their own taste,
There is a cool hard times token. I think it's illustrious predecessor. Yes that's it google it. Very cool and not to pricey for a decent coin
For some reason, when I read this I thought of "Turtles featuring coins". http://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-...ai-turtle-that-ate-hundreds-of-coins-has-died
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/photos/kazakhstan/g1361.jpg I think this is my favorite that I've found.
Oh my friend, do I have the turtles for you. I also collect turtle coins. I currently have 44 of them. Here is a thread on the subject I started awhile back. https://www.cointalk.com/threads/turtles.278742/ I just added my newest ones to that thread.
Thanks hiddendragon. I especially like that 5 pence from St. Helena & Ascencion, since my given name is Jonathan.
1988 Cook Islands and 1981 Tuvalu...proof sets... I really like how the octopus looks and how it takes up the space on the coin.
