I was checking out my pocket change today when something odd caught my eye. Washington's nose on a 2000 Maryland state quarter looked broken. The whole obverse looked strange so I turned it over to see the reverse and I was quite surprised. "Get Crabs?" Would a coin like that be some sort of Maryland Crab restaurant juke box primer? Or, a joke? Sorry if it's nothing new to you east coasters. .
Where you from? Left coast? Washington was dukin' it out with Cornwallis........he landed a 'blow' but Washington got the better of him........
I have a coin with crab...and the poor thing hasn't been able to get rid of the crab in over 2,400 years. Silver litra Akragas (Agrigentum, Sicily, Italy) mint. c. 450/446 - 439 B.C.
