Is anyone from CT planning to attend CoinFest this week? It is scheduled for Thursday, Friday & Saturday. The show hours on Thursday are short & Saturday conflicts with Jon Stewart’s rally for Sanity in Washington DC. I should be at CoinFest all day Friday. I’ll be wearing a green sticker on my badge that says “Do You CoinTalk?”. If you are there, please say hi. If you are traveling to Stamford on auto-pilot, don’t go to the hotel from last year. CoinFest is apparently being held at the Marriott hotel in Stamford which is different from last years venue.

I met a CoinTalk lurker. I met a CoinTalk lurker at CoinFest Friday. He noticed my sticker "Do You CoinTalk" & told me he had read this thread before attending the show. Apparently, he often reads CT but does not post. This lurker had an NGC box full of VAMs and some better date Lincolns for sale. One of his VAMs looked like a top 100 in MS64 with eye appealing toning. He plans to slab it before selling. He is looking to buy a 1914-D Lincoln in AU. Unfortunately, all he could find was ether over priced or low grade in his opinion.
