CoinCorgi Tell your dog I said hi!

This is a nice 1883-CC GSA Morgan Dollar specimen that I was given by mom about 40+ years ago.

First, the crude close-up pics of the coin, followed by the packaging, COA, etc.

Nice die cracks...I've yet to try to ID the VAM (so any help would be appreciated!)...

Packaging, COA, etc. in next post.

Those die cracks are cool. I'm not a fan of Morgans but I like those.

Nice example. Die clash at the "V" of the jaw/neck and a die break on eagles left wing should help you to the VAM. Can't see in the photo if there is a short bar under the second 8 of the date

CT helps those who help themselves. ;)
Go to VAMWorld.com In left column select VAM's by year. Select 1883CC. Compare listed VAM's to your coin. Post your findings here on CT. Good luck and happy VAM'ing!

Like I said, I've yet to try id'ing the VAM. I am fully aware of how to.

Yes, you did say you have yet to try id'ing a VAM. You did not state that you are fully aware of how to do it. If you already knew this why did you ask for help? Why didn't you do the research first then ask for confirmation?
You did state you "would appreciate any help". I gave you step by step instructions. When do I get some appreciation (a thank you?) for trying to help you?
