A lot of collectors got this news earlier this month.
Good luck to anybody that buys a $500 box in hopes of finding another MEL.

Like a 500 dollar scratcher, LOL. And I even think buying 25 dollar boxes of pennys is a lot.....man I guess I have problems...

I thought that they got rid of the edge lettering a while ago. Did I hear wrong?

They removed IGWT from the edge and put it on the obv of the coin but the date, mint, E PLURIBUS UNUM and thirteen stars are still on the edge. In 2009 they started lettering the edge of the Sac/NA dollars as well.

A $500 scratcher, but you still have $500 after you "scratch" them all.
