    Hi all,

So the last two times I've gone into Barnes and Noble and Books a Million, I have not been able to find Coin World magazine. Does anyone know if they've stopped carrying them?

I think the publisher has filed bankruptcy. Somebody posted something about it the other day.

Is Coin World published by the same people as Numismatic News?

Krause is the publisher (actually their parent company) that filed for bankruptcy.
    That affects Numismatic News.

    Coin World is still published.
I know, I have a subscription and it is delivered weekly.

I have a monthly subscription to Coin World also. I use to do the same thing. Go to B & N looking for the mags. The subscription is in my mailbox every month. Plus I get to give a subscription to some one each year at Christmas. Two subscriptions for the price of one.

I'm still receiving my Numismatic News. F&W sold a portion of their assets and is currently looking for a buyer or bail out.

Numismatic News is Krause Publications and owned by F&W. F&W filed for bankruptcy. (Krause also publishs World Coin News, Banknote Reporter, the Standard Catalog of World Coins, and the Standard Catalog of Paper Money.)

    Coin World is Amos Press
