Was just reading a article on page 18 recent coin world and read of 10,000 pieces minted 1917 McK's half were returned and melted leaving about 5000 and red book posting MS 65 at $2250. I said I think I have a MS66 and thought this is a keeper! Here he is!
Dang it... I always wait for CoinWorld to come in but they ship back home and not my college. Very cool, I'm sure the article will jack up the price a bit for a little while. I've been telling myself that when I have a coin that gets a magazine article - it'll be sold promptly. Just so I can get a coin that may be in the next issue
This should probably go under world coins but seeing I'm having a rainy Coin World mag day thought I'd hijack my own thread! This was page 112 same recent issue!! Said thought it was worthless but worthy of CW article??
