why is it when I look in the Coin Values mag. I see a 2002 silver eagle worth MS65 $126 and MS69 $209 when I saw a PCGS MS68 sell for $23 on e-bay?

is the mag. full of it? or was that coin a steal?

Let's put it this way - it wasn't a steal.

Coin Values lose it sometimes on their listings.
I suspect that if looked at older copies you will see that the price hasn't changed for several months (or longer).
I suspect you are seeing old prices from when these coins first started getting graded.
The bloom is off the rose now.

Forget CV prices and go with eBay completed auctions for coins that actually sold.

never check those prices at the magazines. even the dealers newsletter is not so update.

I Agree totally with Elaine, The Grey Sheet isn't even right all the time and there are some that swear buy it.

If you are looking for a specific coin I would look up historical sales on e-bay, Teletrade and Heritage to see how much they are going for.

I have found very few realistic prices in magazines Some are high, some or low a few seem dead on.
