Just wondering if this toning on this Great Smokey Moutains P Mint Quarter is natural or what is wrong with it. 20150817_154246.jpg 20150817_154306.jpg

There is no telling what may have caused it. The photo is too blurry.

    rickmp Frequently flatulent.

If you place the coin on a hard surface while taking a photograph, you'll get better results. Keep your lens parallel with surface of the coin, too.

    ETA: Crop your photo, also.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

It has either been exposed to a chemical, heat, or electricity. That toning is not natural, and is not attractive.
