Coin Talk - The Place to Discuss Old Coins That is what is displayed in the title bar of every thread here on CoinTalk. Are we only allowed to discuss old coins? What if someone wants to discuss new coins? Or currency? Or tokens? Or - well, you get my point.
Just how much can you say about new coins?? Gee, aren't they bright and shinny. OK, now what? I found another new coin. So? :rolling:
Guess that depends on where one is. The coins that you can find in circulation around here are not exactly old (max. 10 years) but come from almost 20 different countries. Who cares about old? Christian
But, in CT's logo its "Numismatic Discussion Forum" - I think the title bar should be closer to that.
Old is a relative term isn't it? To somone born in 1990 a coin from 1980 is old. I graduated in 1980 calling that old must make me ancient. Expanding on this reasoning. A donut that didn't sell the day it was made can be sold the next day as a day old donut. Thus it is old but by no means a coin. Paper is not coins therefore I shall never post about them again. Gonna miss that part of the forum.
