Funny you should start this thread. I just recently purchased my first safe. I bought a small unit, with a key and combination lock mechanism. This came about due to my parent's recent visit - it upset them to see my collection housed on a bookshelf. It wasn't expensive, so I thought it was cheaply purchased parental assurance.
The only item that article did not cover was insurance. If your coins are worth the dollars, then additional homeowner's insurance may be warranted. Also, detailed invoices, pictures, etc., will also aide in any insurance claim.
