First, what is a good online source that posts coin shows throughout the United States, especially in the Northeast. Second, where are your favorite coin shows held.

    Thanks!!!

Coin World publishes a list of coin shows broken down per state. They have a site online as well as the weekly publication that can be sent to your house.

My favoraite show (which is no doubt the BEST coin show) is the Florida United Numismatic (FUN) show hekd in early January. It is the largest show with over 400 boothes, all of the top TPG's, all of the auction houses and the best of all coins you can imagine.

Actually there are usually coin show listings on the PCGS web site. However, I just typed in Illinois coin shows and up poped a list of all the ones around here. Coin World, as noted has a list also. Nowadays due to the new Quarters and Nickels the interest in coins has sky rocketed and there are shows everywhere. We have one in this area almost every weekend. There are a few here every once in while at a place called the Rosemont Convention Center where the last time I was there, there were almost 600 dealers. Actually I'm going to one of shows today. I usually go to 2 a month. At most of the coin shows someone is passing out listings of all the shows, calendars with all the shows, etc. However, due to this increase in coin interests you will notice that the prices of coins has jumped substantially. Try to stick to the smaller shows. The table prices for the dealers is less and therefore they sometimes charge a little less. Sonetimes.

You can also try going to Coin Shows.com. It's not as good as the other one, but it helps. It does show dates through the whole year, not only recent ones.

Heay Carl, you must live close to me. I'm in Chicago. I go to the Rosemont show when it comes thru and i try to get to the NOISE show in Itasce as much as i can. It's held every 3rd Sunday of the month. Give it a try. There's usually about 50-60 tables. If you have any insight to upcoming shows or auction please let me know. I've always been interested in going to an auction but never have. Ebay's getting old and I'm starting to narrow my sights from bulk coins to specific coin lots and grades. Thx Ron

    Gus where do you live?

Some of the smaller coin shows aren't published. I know the local show here in Toledo really isn't published except for on a website or two. Took me a few months to even find a show in Toledo!

So far, the most extensive listing of upcoming shows I've found is COINS magazine, and they list LOTS of small shows.

Update Gorham Coin Club Show at Verillo's Conference Center on Riverside Drive in Portland, Maine on March 19th!!!

It would be useful if there was an area on this site where people could post info on coin shows only.
