The new Coin ShowCalendar is up and running. It is an interactive calendar, you can post comments, and be notified of show listings in your state by email. The price is still the same, FREE.... If you would like to be notified or leave comments PM me your email address and what state and I'll get you set up. This is a great way for dealers to let everyone know what show they are setting up at........... Here is what I have on the calendar for this weekend, if you know of a show that is not on the calendar please let me know. I'm going to hit the Melville show (Long Island, NY). Anyone else going? I'll be there from about 8AM to around 11:00, perhaps 11:30 if things are interesting.
I've got 2 shows that I can go to coming up. Vienna, VA, starting on the 19th. Chantilly, VA, starting on the 24th. I've been to the Vienna show many times. Mid-sized (40-60 dealers) but VERY cramped for room. Very difficult to move around and view dealers' items. The Chantilly show is supposed to have about the same number of dealers, but LOTS more room. And a lot of different dealers. Haven't been there before, but I think I'll skip Vienna and go there this time. My wantlist has a lot of tougher items so I'm REALLY looking forward to the huge (500-1000 dealers) shows up the road in Baltimore. We get 2-3 of those a year.
Wow, thats amazing. Out of all of those shows I cant make it to any of them. I'm really waiting for the Baltimore show in June.
Im going to the one in white plains new york.It will be my first real coin show.I am really looking forward to the show.
