Went to Lemont today and got a few nice coins. Sorry no pictures for now, I'm at a friend's house, but tomorrow I'll post some guess the grades.
I picked up a 1940-D jefferson with an awesome strike, that would easily make FS but there is a fine scratch on the the steps that may keep it from FS at NGC but it would probably go at PCGS. Next was a nice blast white merc with nearly full bands, but not quite. Also got a 1955 gem proof lincoln for $1. Last purchase was a nice uncirculated 1961 washington with rainbow toning that I bought for $3 just for some photo practice on toning. BTW the jefferson and the merc were $8 each and worth every cent IMO.
Again, sorry to leave you guys hanging with no pictures, but that's just how it goes. :smile
