Coin Show October 1st

Just wanted to let everyone know that there is a coin show this weekend that has not shown up in NumismaticNews or any other publication. The show is at I W Abel Hall in Steelton, PA this Saturday starting at 8am. They generally have this show every year the 1st saturday in October.

For those of you living close to the Harrisburg, PA area, it is worth a drive as I have noticed prices are generally better than the Philly or Baltimore show since it has smaller dealers willing to deal with negotiation on prices. This location is approximately 3 minutes East of Harrisburg.

Thanks for the heads up Doctor. Unfortunately, it will be a week early for me as I'll be up there the following weekend visiting relatives. Too bad, they're not far from Steelton. I could have taken a run down there and taken a look. Oh well, maybe I can make Hershey.

I spent about an hour checking this show out today. Very friendly dealers, very helpful. I made several purchases. Got the complimentary wooden nickels and Harrisburg token. Bought some of the their raffle tickets. In spite of the rain, had a great day.
