Coin Show finds: PICTURES!! Rare VAM!

    I had a good two days at the coins show here in Jacksonville....I bought 16 Morgans, a Peace, a Trade, and a couple of Large Cents. Here are the pictures:

    1878 7TF VAM 198 Tripled Cotton, line under crossbars of 1 and 7, over-polished wings. RARE! Grade? P.S. I got this for $50 =)

    1899 O VAM 31 Micro O ....Nice pickup for 12 bucks=)

    1878 8TF ....I thought this was a VAM 9, First die pair, but I think I was wrong. Oh well, this was 12 bucks as well =p Here are the pictures...perhaps I was right in the first place. Oh, and it does not look as bad as it does in the pictures....

    Your Trade Dollar looks like a "Micro S" variety. I have one to compare it to. Very nice acquisitions.

    Not real rare, maybe add a $20-$40 premium to the coin I reckon.

    1899 O BU with light yellow toning and nice reverse die cracks but a weird black mark on the reverse....would acetone take this off?

    Is it real? ;) I would have paid $100 for the coin. It looks to be close to fine condition in my eyes... :)

    Haha...I'm pretty sure it's real...I had bought about 200 bucks worth of coins from the same guy and had talked to him for like an hour and a half, so he gave me a good price....

    What do ya'll think about that 1878 8TF DBL RIB and Spike A....anyone have an attribution for it, or is it a new VAM?
