The Charlotte Coin Club Show is coming up soon. Was just wondering if anyone was going. It did happen to have a US mint, did it not?

No, it must not die, this thread needs at least one reply!

It had a mint before the Civil War and only made gold coins.

P.S. here is your one reply :)

^If you mean the show, the 10th-12th of February, put on by the Charlotte coin club. as for where, coppied this right off the flier: Metrolina Tradeshow Expo Center 7100 Statesville Rd. (Exit 16 off I-77)

If you mean the mint, I have no clue.

Anybody who's been to this show, what's it like -- how big, how much competition (buy price/sell price) for gold and silver? If there's another big move in PMs next week, I might be tempted to go and do some business, but it's an awfully long haul.

For that matter, anybody know anything about the Greensboro or Rocky Mount shows the following weekend? They're closer, but still not terribly close.

Never been to any of those, but always go to the Raleigh shows. Doubt I will make the Charlotte show, but I've always been curious about the Rocky Mount and Greensboro shows.
