I was wondering if anyone knows of any good coin shops near Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida? I'm going to be stuck up there Thursday and Friday afternoon while my wife is at a conference (we are going to Disney on Sat and Sun) and I thought I would check to see if someone can recommend a coin shop or two where I can waste some time during the afternoon.

    Thanks,
    David

I don't know about coin shops but the jewelry store on the left side of the street going into the park used to sell some .999 souvenier silver rounds, generously priced over melt value but probably better than spending the money on mouse ears.

Disney World is actually closer to Kis simmee, and in Kis simmee you'll find Trader Nick's

Tell him I said Howdy ;) Oh, and he's a forum member so you can contact him if you wish.

And while he does not have a shop in Orlando, you could always schedule an appointment with another friend of mine, Dan Sedwick. He's one of the legends for Spanish colonial coinage - if you have an interest in that area. If you do, lemme know and I'll provide contact info.
