Hi Guys, I'm new to cointalk. I used to collect coins as a kid & I stopped when my parents's house was robbed when I was in middle school. I still remember my favorite coin.....it was a 20 cent piece that had an error. Loved that thing! Anyways, I think time has healed my wounds and I am ready to get into the hobby again. But I can't seem to find a coin shop in Philly. There's gotta be one, right???? -O.A.V.
There used to be one out on the Main Line on Route 30 (Harverford or Bryn Mawr), which is a short drive from Center City or just take the R5. TC
United States Coin & Currency (215) 342-7600 7934 Oxford Ave, Philadelphia, PA Also, there is one on 611 north of the turnpike and county line road. Can't remember the name of it to save my life.
There is a coin show at the Fort Washington Holiday Inn I think every month. Additionally, Whitman holds a big show in philly every fall.
