My sister is in Berlin on business for a few days. Anyone know of any good coin shops in Berlin? I want her to go snooping around for me, see if there are any finds of interest. Looking for silver, German States/Brandenburg area.
I don't know the local coin shops but if she is in Berlin on the weekend, then she might go to the thrift/antique market at the railroad. I believe it is called "Antikmarkt" at the Ostbahnhoff. My German language spelling may be way-off.
Don't know about coin shops in Berlin either, but your sister could check out "Münzen am Zoo"; as far as I know, they have a walk-in store. http://www.muenzen-am-zoo.de That Antikmarkt at the Ostbahnhof is open on Sundays. There are other flea markets/swap meets in Berlin, but they may not have coins there. Christian
