Ex-employee arrested in Reno coin shop thefts The ex-employee/suspect reportedly confessed to the crimes and items stolen in this week's burglary were recovered. I wonder if the ex-employee/suspect was a collector who got carried away being around all those coins or just another crackhead who saw an easy way to get money for more drugs.
Yeah, I missed that obvious possibility. But not everyone that lives in Nevada is a gambler. We will never know his motive.
I think he's learning why they call it a pokey. Ribbit Ps: Have you been getting my emails lately? :goofer:
Yeah, I think I have a few hundred to go through. I'm still trying to get caught up after being gone for 8 weeks.
Possibly they did, but the person knew how to disarm them (he was an ex-employee... perhaps it didn't occur to anyone to change the code after he left).
There was another break-in: http://www.numismaster.com/ta/numis/Article.jsp?ad=article&ArticleId=5549 This one gets into the details of what all was stolen and there's a reward. Ribbit
Yeah, I thought of that. Seems they paid for it. I don't have a key or a code for the shop I work in and that suits me just fine.
