Coin Scammers Nabbed

Morning people and Happy Thanksgiving. Here's a story that ran in the local paper a couple of days ago. Thought it might be of interest to some of you......

I saw a clip of that on the local news, think it was Ch4 and I didn't get to see anything much more than a bunch of guys on LI were arrested. Thanks for the link!

 

A lovely story. Sad though and these guys must be some GOOD talkers.

Don't you just love it when they catch the "bad guys" that give a black eye to our hobby?

 

Glad they were caught. But, if I were going to pay out almost half a million for some coins and they used that line about having investors lined up to buy, wouldn't you at least question why they wouldn't just sell directly to them at such a stated profit? There would be red flags all over my radar, even if I knew nothing about coins.
