Not sure if any of you have tried these before, but I found them online and thought they could provide for some Friday fun. http://www.funtrivia.com/quizzes/hobbies/coins_and_banknotes/us_coins__banknotes.html
Got 9 out of 10. Who knew 600 A.D.! BTW, interesting question about coin cleaning! I won't ruin the aswer, but as the debate rages on in another thread, I had to chuckle when I saw this question.
I think you mean 600 B.C. Here is a coin from ca. 450-400 B.C. Edit to add: I have an older coin from India that is from 550-450 B.C. The first coins are generally accepted as being from Ionia or Lydia around 600 B.C. They are made of electrum (gold/silver mixture). It's cool stuff.
I only tried one quiz & had an incoming call which caused the question I was on to apparently time-out. I plan to play later.
I did six of them, taking the TIMED tests. A Penny for Your Thoughts? You scored: 848 / 1000 You scored 9 questions correct on your first try.
