Coin photography and me: large photos inside

    When I first joined this site, like many people, I couldn't shoot a decent coin picture to save my life. I have read a bunch of informative posts about taking photos, lighting and editing pictures. One of the most important lessons to me was you don't NEED expensive photography equipment to take good clear photos, you just need to learn to use what you have. Those posts, along with my desire to contribute photos occasionally have not only made me a better photographer, but a happier collector. With all that said, I would like to say thanks to everyone who has taken the time to offer advice on coin photography to this forum and others.:thumb:

    +1 I second that emotion!!! Nice work and congrats on the acquired skills!

    Could you tell us more about what kind of light source you used for these photos? It seems very cool and bluish? Kind of makes for an interesting moody 'kind of blue'. :)

    I was looking at the 1941 WLH, especially around the date and thinking LED lamp?

    2 100w clear reveal bulbs

    The walker actually is shown pretty accurately color wise

    Thanks. Maybe it was just the contrast playing tricks on me or my own monitor.
