DSC00927 can someone please tell me anything about this fantastic silver coin,maybe anything of its worth,as i am about to put it on ebay,and dont want to sell it for too little,a propper coin dealer would love this for there collection,someone please help
Well, the picture did not post, and there was no description. Is this a litra or an obol or a tetradrachm? Is it from Syracuse really or is it a Punic issue or what? Just as an aside, you know, you might have introduced yourself a bit, because my first inclination is that you are an outsider who knows nothing about coins -- which is OK: we welcome newbies -- but you want to profit from our knowledge without investing any effort yourself. I mean, if you do not want to sell it for too little, how much are you offering the person who helps you sell it right? (Google Michael Marotta ancient coins and most of the first 200 hits will be me.)
