Hi, i'm not sure if this site has been posted here yet. A coin information site (FREE), can be found at moderncoininfo.com
A definition of "modern" which includes 1909 cents, but excludes 1963 half-dollars seems pretty inconsistent to me.
No intent to run down that web site but just way to many such web sites around lately. Usually they appear and are soon forgotten. Much better to just look or ask around here for information. Not that that web site is or isn't any good but I would rather stick to trusted forums for information. And as already noted not consistant. Over the years I've seen so many references to other web sites for coins and not sure if any of them still even exist. Here is something interesting. Go to Google and type in Coins. There are 89,800,000 results.
Just thinking if you spent 5 minutes checking out each of those 89,800,000 coin web sites you would eventually spend approximately 853.09 years looking at each one. The main problem here is by the time you finished there would possibly be even more such items. :crying:
Modern I think they mean modern in the sense of coins presently in circulation to some extent. Lincoln cents are still circulating, Franklin half dollars are not. The site has a easy viewable NGC census, which recently was closed at the NGC site unless your registered.
