Can anybody help me identify this coin? Is it for real? It looks like a China coin and I understand there are so many counterfeit Chinese coins. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you.

It's a Chinese cash coin from the Qing (Ch'ing) Dynasty (1644-1911).

The inscription reads xian feng tong bao which means it was cast during the Xianfeng reign (1851-1861) of Emperor Wen Zong.

The coin was cast at the Board of Works mint.

This is a very common coin and your coin is "real".
