I would like your thoughts on the best type of coin holders. Most of my coins are in cardboard 2x2 holders. To me, they just don't seem to be much protection. Could you give the pro's & con's of each type. thanks Sonny
Search under the word "storage" under search. Lots of info. Many people use airtights or Intercept 2x2's for the best protection.
It really depends on the value of your coins, and how much you want to protect them. I see plenty of $1,000+ coins in 2x2 holders at coin shows. I would have no hesitation putting just about any coin in a 2x2. Now, if you want to keep a coin blast white, or if you want to arrest any further toning, then you want something like an Intercept Shield, etc. If you're worried about displaying coins, then you may also want something more elegant. As far as "protection" for run-of-the-mill coins, 2x2s are just fine.
