    Hi,
I'm new to the hobby and have been having a tough time figuring out how to store my coins. I'm wondering how you store yours- is there one system you use? do you prefer one holder over another? I'd like to keep everything uniform. Something about the white cardboard holders doesn't sit right with me. the flimsy clear holders are too flimsy. I like something card shaped- the circular holders seem tough to flip through. And the harder plastic holders seem kind of pricy, also, the majority of my collection is Civil War Tokens and Hard Times Tokens, so as far as sizes for holders, I'm not sure what to do, as many of them wouldn't fit into any given size. Just looking for some opinions, resources, anecdotal information, etc. Thanks

Part of the decision depends upon how good your tokens are in terms of grade.

There's something like 7 window sizes of 2x2's (the cardboard holders with the plastic windows). They are plenty good for inexpensive, circulated items.
There are notebook sized pages for storing 2x2's.

A step up are flips. Two attached plastic pockets (one for the coin, one for a label).
The most common are the 2x2 size which are good for everything less than dollar size (you really need 2.5x2.5's for dollar sized coins).
Just make sure you get the PVC-free ones.

Above that are the Airtites, but they are generally made for specific issues so the correct size would be a problem.

Then there albums but you would still have the size problem.

Expensive items (>$200) can be slabbed (graded and authenticated) and are probably the best for that sort of token.
