I started this thread so people can post what they plan on getting in the near future. This can be specific coins or if you don't have any plans like that it can be a general thing. It just must be something that you have the $$ to get and are just waiting on the right piece. That said, I'll go first.

I am currently looking for PCGS Seated liberty material (half dimes, dimes, quarter, half dollar) from the 1830's and 40's for $200 or less. Sure there are quite a few pieces like this in this range. The real challenge in this is finding something for a reasonable price.

Now, what are you people looking for?

A half cent. Any variety lol. Any grade too. Preferably VF but if I can get a good deal on an early (pre-1810) I'd even go for a G-4 example.

I saw this beautiful 1804 draped bust XF half cent with the spiked chin and crosslet four. As soon as I get back into town Tuesday I'm picking it up. My dealer is holding it for me. I'll snap some photos and post them into the "newest acquisitions" thread.

I'm down to the key dates on my Peace Dollar set. I aim to finish that this year! And add a few to my type set. Also to expand my horizons - learn more about early American coins and World coins. Going to be a good year!

Nothing specific right now in the works, but I'll continue building my large cent varieties collection. That should keep me busy for the rest of my life, or until I come into a few million spare dollars.
