I have to admit as I read some of the threads to my post on e-bay seller to beware of, I was laughing pretty hard. Heck, I thought all you coin guys were just old curmudgeons (had to look up the spelling up in the mood section). I think that means kinda like the lincoln penny you find on the blacktop that has been run over a lot.
Nawwww - are few of us are old(hmmm definition of old hmmm) or older, but no curmudgeons(and I checked the spelling too). Now we do have a lot of "wanna be" comedians.
Little Dog, I'm glad you have a sense of humor as well as I was one of those "funny guys". Didn't mean to offend and glad you didn't take it that way. We're normal people for the most part. We just happen to be coin geeks. I'm probably the most sane person on the forum actually. clembo
Keep with us young Luke Skywalker and you too shall someday be able to do sellers as us : " you want to sell me that coin for 50% of greysheet" "yes I want to sell you this coin at 50% of greysheet" " You want to find me an uncleaned 1926-S , MS65 raw" "yes I want to find you such a coin, I will send it to you as soon as I can" " Remember Thinking that you out dealed me" "Ha, I out did you, you old knight, err...... curmudgeon" Jim
None of this is true. In reality it has been proven that a large percentage of all people are a little nutty. It's actually a majority. Therefore a normal person is actually a little on the insane side making abnormal the true sane or normal. Individuals that collect coins are usually on the excentric side where they fall into the majority of sanety individuals that are unbalanced. This would indicate that the above statement was submitted by someone that only believes he is sane and must therefore fall into the minority of people making him obviously just plain nuts. Or he is really sane. Not sure.
