Once again I`m in need of help to indentify a…something. I don´t even know if it is a coin or a medallion. I have a feeling it is some sort of an Indian coin, but I can´t find it in Krause.

Check the Krause Unusual coins book under India Princely States--Bikanir. This is the nazrana Rupee of Ganga Singh. The nazrana issues were nothing but presentation issues. These were to be purchased from the king's treasury at a premium and then presented back to him on certain special occassions like anniversary of rule or birthdays.

I forgot to mention that this was minted to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of reign of Ganga Singh.
