This is the Best forum out there---oh there are other forums but none can even come close to CoinTalk. And when you say WE...Peter only owns this forum-- Speedy
I would recommend Collector's Universe. It is the largest and most active. As such, it is also the most contentious, but it also has the largest number of coin professionals and experts available to answer your questions, and they are generally very active in the forums. NGC also has a forum: NGC Forums. Here's another: Coin Community Forum You should check them out and make up your own mind
I have visted I guess about every coin forum out there---the problem with the big ones like PCGS is that if you don't agree with everything they say some of the guys will cuss you out--- While I would disagreee that they have the largest number of coin professionals----they do have some of the well known ones but MOST of them almost never post---they just make one or two posts---that is the thing I like about Cointalk---when someone comes here it is like a home away from home and they stay and help answer questions. Hi Tracy, There are a lot of forums out there collectors universe, coin community froum .ngc, pcgs, and so on.But it is my opinion that most of the members of those forums have far to many issues for me they just argue to much. Also alot of talk about coin investment no true collectors, here we have members that just love our hobby for the joy of it.I am a member of only one coin forum, this is my home every one here has always gone out of there way to help me, and as far as having experts go I think the crew here can hold there own against any forum out there.
AHH, you've been spying on me. Yes there are many, many coin forums and web sites out there and more almost every day. As noted PCGS is just too big now with over 22,000 members and many are just wierdos looking for something to do. Coinclub is weird because people just look and no one answers or post anything. Strange and might be a front for the government. NGC is OK also. Then ther is coinforum.org, coincommunity and on and on and on. If you want to check out an educational one, go to coppercoins.com before he starts to charge for info access. However, so far this place is about the best. I do like to jump around and check out coin forums, web sites, etc but jsut as with a good store I and others will always come back to a good one. Now as for my car????????????????????????
