Tom Corona's post led me to putting up a poll on whether we are a coin dealer or not. So here's a poll if I can get it up.
If the thrust of Tom's thread was "rich" people on CT, a dealer may not qualify. I walked into a B&M coin store in Orange County, Cal where $25,000 would buy the whole shooting match.
i'm not a dealer. i've never sold a coin in my life. i've traded a few, but i've never taken profit in the trade. my "motto" is: price i paid = price i trade.
I know right...you'd have to sell your coins. That would be fine but the buyers want to keep the coins in their possession then!!! now way
I'm merely a humble insignificant modest collector who is always at the mercy of the evil and rich dealer.... A person who is constantly after my hard earned drachmas'. :smile
This poll doesn't solve anything... As long as we have coins, and are members of CoinTalk, we are coin dealers... We are all rich, all own fancy expensive yachts, and like Oprah we own millions of people. Jokes aside, I am not a coin dealer
I'm a coin dealer, I deal with my coins every day. I pick them up and look at them, i make sure to protect them. Its hard work being a dealer.
lol you guys are great... I really liked Green coming back to say "you guys know I'm kidding right" lol
