Coin Bezel - Half Dollar Sized for Metal Detected Walker Half

I ordered a Silver Bezel for a Silver 1942 Walking Liberty Half Dollar US Coin I metal detected at Brighton Beach Coney Island Brooklyn.



Nice Bezel with a reeded edge.


Anyone else wear a bezeled coin on chain?

Here is an older Bezel with a 1902 V Nickel my wife gave me as a gift when we first started dating 7 years ago. She found the Nickel in a cash register when she was a manager at a supermarket.

 

I recently purchased this repousse style Kennedy half with a Bezel -


I don't plan to wear this one.

I don't as I am not much of a jewelry guy. But I did buy this ancient from a CT member and @lordmarcovan blessed me with a bezel for it. I put this together for my wife. She loves the Chi-Rho symbol because it is displayed a lot in our church. She loves the necklace.

 

Yep, looks great! I have a number of them, only gold pendants though. Actually, I think I have a silver somewhere but not as nice as yours! Here's my half sovereign which happens to be one of my favorites! This one is in a 9ct gold bezel as I wanted to go a little cheaper than 14k! The chain is 14k tho! Normally it's hidden under my shirt, can't do that with a tank! I started wearing when I was a lot younger, thinking if I ran into an emergency, I would always have gold on me as a backup for cash flow.

 

My son has a coin necklace, but not on a bezel. I found an Augustus in a lot with an ancient hole in it. It fit his necklace perfectly, so now there is an 8 year old running around with an authentic Augustus coin around his neck.

 

I don't wear jewelry. That's why I got a divorce. ~ Chris
