Well It's a 1933 Russia 3 kopeks, but the interesting thing is, it has a Nazi counter-stamp. I'm not sure when or why this counter-stamp was applied but it's certaily intersting.

I certainly see that it is 3 copecks, the stamp is interesting. For what?

Well, most likely this coin was counter-stamped during the German occupation of the Soviet Union, the Germans' were very eager to attack Russia soon after Poland. When they did launch their attack, nick-named "Barbarossa", they were taking over 100 kilometers a day from the Soviet Union. This was probably used for either general circulation in Germany ( possibly because of the precious metal shortage during WW2), general circulation in German uccupied Russia, or German soldiers in Russia.

Another possibility is a Nazi lover did this sometime recent, possibly as a noverlty....

I certainly am not sure why this was done, but thats just my 2 cents...

Thank you. Many of these coins are not able to do. It marked what that information. Perhaps this omission in any institution ever arranged by the Nazis in our territory. Information on it is no. Or they are destroyed together with the owners of these coins, or the owners destroyed them themselves. Indeed, in those days for a can and shoot without a trial ...

I wanted to buy the coin, 1 cent.
On one of the forums is a discussion. That supposedly is on sale in the U.S., $ 1 for one such center, a souvenir for tourists, etc.
    A monetovladelets in PM 200000r named a price - $ 7,000.
I do not understand. How much does it all cost?
Thanks to all who comment on

The symbol stamped on the obverse is is the masonic "square and compass", probably gave that out at one of their meetings. Or just a souvenir piece. Very cool!! As for value I do not know, but would guess no more than a few dollars.

During the Fascist occupation of the Western part of the USSR (1941-44), German military administration used a Soviet banknotes for an appeal on that territories. But not a coins. So, I suppose that the Fascist eagle on that 3-kopeks coin - is a post-war silly joke.
