    Maybe the Philippines? Puerto Rico?
"Colonies" we got after the Spanish-American War.
Was there a mint in Guam?

It actually wasn't bad advice at least through my perspective..

Beginner esque, but I liked it :))

It was advice on how to INVEST, not collect. We would all do well to remember the differences.

For many parts of the world it was. In some areas, the colonial era continued well into the 1960's.

For some reason, CNBC censored the following excerpt from their article :

"It's easy to get rich quick with rare coins", said Ricky B of Coin Talk International. "All ya gotta do is find an 1822 Half Eagle in grandpa's cigar box. I mean, c'mon... how hard is that ? Get with it, people !"

At least they included the photo.
