C'mon. When I was looking through my "undated" buffalo nickels, I found that when you tilt the coin in the light, it's a 1913. On the back it shows it is a type two. That coin is one of my better undated nickels and would be about a f-12 to a vf-20 if it had a date. Even though it would be only worth about 15-20 bucks, I'm a new collector and got excited when I saw it. What should I do with it?

Fortunately, they no longer make bubblegum machines for one nickel.

You can Nic-a-date it, or soak it in some vinegar to bring out the date a little.

Once you are a pickle you can't be a cucumber again.
If you can see 1913 and it's a type 2 reverse then keep it until you get a better example.

If you can tell that it is a 1913 then it is not an un-dated nickel. I wouldn't mess with it.
