   What causes the clouding and/or bluish tint found on a lot of the Silver Ike Proof coins? (Brown Ike Boxes)
   
   I have never known this, and I am rather curious now.

   It is commonly called haze and it is believed to be caused the washing process the coins underwent at the mint.
