So I thought I would follow up with the prior posts. Personally prior to buying I like to see what the people here think of the grades of coins I am interested in the grading or am considering buying. Sometimes I like to see what the toning/high eye appeal coins go for at a premium the coins I posted sold on eBay, which is the strongest bidding location I have seen toned coins or specifically ihc sell on so these are the coins and the auction prices please tell me what you think. I like trying to analyze the toned coin market. 1881 s 1c ngc pr66+rb sold for $1284 1879 1c ms66 rb ngc sold $1876 I added brown auction data for those who disagree with the color grade 1898 1c ngc pr66bn sold for $1682 These coins brought very strong money but also have strong eye appeal. Does anyone want to share an opinion of the pricing these coins went for on eBay?
The prices look strong and I'm not sure if the buyers will be super happy. That seller's photos are juiced. The coins might be nice but won't be like the photos in hand.
