Well, hello, there! Longtimenosee.

Well, folks, I'm back for the moment, to play catchup after a very long hiatus (even by my sporadic in-and-out standards).

It seems the last time I was really active here was in May; I stuck my head in very briefly in June, and then wandered off into the mist completely, dropping everything and putting the hobby and forums on the far back burner.

Now here we are on the cusp of August. Wow. Time flies, whether or not you're having fun, eh?

It has been a very busy summer season at my resort job, I've endured a few ailments (nothing permanent), and am also still recovering from a fairly serious case of RSV. (Which apparently stands for "Rob Shinnick Virus", since it chose to inhabit my wretched carcass and is not completely gone yet. Happily, however, it is 75-80% improved after my trip to the ER on Sunday.)

But hey, 'nuffabout all that. I sincerely apologize for the disappearing act. Please bear with me while I try and pick stuff back up and brush all the cobwebs and dust off.

To the best of my knowledge, I did not leave any paying customers or swap partners in the lurch (please contact me ASAP if I’m wrong there!), but there is definitely some unfinished business here on the Contests forum and at least one person who has not yet received their long-ago promised giveaway prize from me yet. That will be amended, and duly sweetened up.

So- thanks for the well-wishes, and your patience and tolerance of my prodigal wanderings (-off). I'm still in and out, but I'll be trying to get back up to speed soon.

Or perhaps “the Phantom” would be appropriate, in light of recent (in-) activity.
