Howdy everyone... Just received a $20 star from the ATM here near home today... If any of you collect Cleveland District notes and need this star it is in AU 50-55 condition. This I will trade for face value ..so first person to respond get's it. RickieB
Thanks, RickieB. I never jump on giveaways, but I can't resist a star note. Especially at face value. Thanks again!
Very generous Rickie. Next to Richmond (JE) and Kansas City (JJ), Cleveland (JD) is one of the short run stars.
Most of you know that I collect Gem grade notes...when placed under a light you can see the slight bends and small corner folds on the note.. it's an AU note in a District I do not collect. SO why not pass it on right? As mentioned it was traded at face..I did not just give away $20.00 Steve what info do you have on the note? The Sn is JD00120423* Face Plate Large "G 70" upper right and small G 1 lower left Back Plate small 76 RickieB
Rickie......I get most of the run information from Numbers website, http://www.uspapermoney.info/serials/f2009_v.html. It's from a short run of 640,000, printed in May 2010. The serial number information, along with the face plate/back plate information should be forwarded to webmaster@uspapermoney.info, where they dissect the information.
Thanks Steve.. I have been so out of touch...LOL For rickmp: Well Rick.. its going to you as mentioned... hey we have the same first name and I am wondering if you were an MP?? RickieB
RickieB, I know you traded it for face value. Still rickmp got a great deal on a short run star note!
And someday, I may be able to return the favor. Maybe to RickieB, or maybe to someone else in a pay it forward fashion.
