Cleopatra coin

    I found this coin with my FIL things after he passed away. I looked on-line and it said something like from 105BC, but thought that couldn’t be true. Does this coin look real? Can you tell me anything about it?

    Looks like a cast fake. Note the soft blotchy surfaces, and what looks like a casting seam around the edge.

    your second picture looks like it has a casting seam; which would mean it is not genuine. Can you post a pic of the sides?

    Well the internet says it’s worth $5000 (and the internet doesn’t lie), so if you want to buy it I’ll sell it to you at a reduced cost of $1500.
