I've been picking up some Cleos this year, some good and some quite worn but quite difficult issues to find. This one has seen better days but then a clean strike would be $$$$$ so I consider it a decent buy. And they don't come up for sale too often.

Ptolemaic Kingdom of Egypt, Cleopatra VII Thea Neotera with Ptolemy XV Caesarion Æ 29mm. uncertain mint on Cyprus (Paphos?), circa 47 BC. Diademed and draped bust of Cleopatra, as Aphrodite, to right, sceptre over shoulder; small winged bust of Caesarion, as Eros, looking up at his mother to right / BAΣIΛIΣΣHΣ [KΛEOΠATPAΣ], double cornucopiae bound with fillet; monogram to right. RPC I 3901; Svoronos 1874; BMC 2-3; Tziambazis 68. 14.26g, 29mm, 11h.

    Good Fine. Extremely Rare.
