Cleaned Seated halfs

    [HR][/HR] There is a common misconception that the mid-19th century was a time of great modesty and victorian sensibilities. This preception is probably not correct as can be seen by many of the coins and other arts of the period. Stangely enough human sexuality was not discovered in the 1920's or the 1960's. [​IMG] [​IMG]
    This 1847 silver half with a near naked "liberty" with a flag in hand, sitting in a relaxed pose was minted in New Orleans, as indicated by the 'O' mint mark on the reverse under the eagle.
