Well, I brought a 1888 Indian head to school. I put it in my pocket UNCLEANED. Took it out cleaned, possible the bleach on my pants? Well it ended up with a new owner.
If you had that much bleach in your pants.... you probably should not have been wearing them... More than likely the coin received wear while in your pocket.
