I'm going to a coin show tomorrow and am considering selling a raw Eagle (in a Capital holder). It grades in the VF30-35 range but, unfortunately, has been harshly cleaned. With gold hovering around $1,430 (making melt for an eagle around $692), what would be a good offer for it? I know a few reputable dealers at this show and am not worried about being low-balled, but I'd still like to get a sense before I go. Thanks.

About 5% back of melt. Major Problem classic gold is being melted these days. If you get ANY premium over melt I'd take it in a heartbeat.
