Been slowly going through some old coins I put away many years ago and came across this one. It appears to be an antoninianus of Claudius Gothicus but can't find it. I know it's rough in spots but I've never seen this reverse on a later Roman Ae. Obv: IMP C CLA.. (maybe): Radiate bust right Rev: (VICT)ORIA ● C ● IIII; Victory standing left holding a palm branch over shoulder and captives to left, below shield, and right below. (note: not sure about the final lettering on the reverse legend)
I agree. It certainly looks like Claudius II Gothicus. I can't find a Victory reverse like it anywhere though. It looks almost like a reverse from Gallienus: But Victory isn't the same.
