I have this coin that seems like a lamination error but I’ve never seen anything like this. Am I correct in it being a peeling lamination error or is it partial missing clad? I’m so confused by this coin, help me figure this one out. Is it an error at all???

I would say that is environmental damage, not a mint error.

I too will say that your coin has environment damage, and is not a mint error.

That's environmental exposure damage that altered the surface on both sides.

You don't have to be confused any longer. We are here to help you ;)

Not an error coin and it does not add any kind of premium since you asked over at the What's it Worth section of CoinTalk :jawdrop:

    Nope.

Nickels don't have a clad layer such as Dimes, Quarters and Kennedy Half Dollars.
